i have no words。 the pacing toward the end felt to strangely incredible。 i just wanted it to end because i felt so sad but at the same time i was lost in the fast paced ending of the game。 it was so immersive! i also read it at school during lunch and very nearly cried but we don't need to talk about that。 i have no words。 the pacing toward the end felt to strangely incredible。 i just wanted it to end because i felt so sad but at the same time i was lost in the fast paced ending of the game。 it was so immersive! i also read it at school during lunch and very nearly cried but we don't need to talk about that。 。。。more

I think I spent the complete volume wiping at my tears。My MASSIVE crush on Shoyo kept me going。 I love it。 I love the direction。 I love the growth。 It hit me hard enough to make me cry, yes, but- when have we not been there? Adding this in as a review for the whole series as I imagine them as one massive illustrated novel! I absolutely love this series。 The art, the story, and character development turns the concept of sport (volleyball) into a deep study of admirable attributes, habits, and personalities that can fill your life。 You just relate to every character so deeply and I think that really trains us to be better people。 I will never not recommend this series to anyone looking to get into anime/manga。

The fact that I only have three volumes left of this series makes me feel the same way Dua Lipa felt when she had to cancel her tour at the start of the pandemic。 Haikyu has defined the last four and a half years of my life in a way no other franchise has。 This volume continues to show why this series has a place in my heart with great character moments, stunning art, a fantastic ending to a pivotal match, and a time skip that feels like it'll push the series in a new direction。 I wasn't expecti The fact that I only have three volumes left of this series makes me feel the same way Dua Lipa felt when she had to cancel her tour at the start of the pandemic。 Haikyu has defined the last four and a half years of my life in a way no other franchise has。 This volume continues to show why this series has a place in my heart with great character moments, stunning art, a fantastic ending to a pivotal match, and a time skip that feels like it'll push the series in a new direction。 I wasn't expecting Hinata and Oikawa's reunion to be that strong, but that's Furudate for you。 。。。more
